30 Years Young

My birthday weekend started out with the arrival of my mommy on Saturday afternoon. It was such a treat. Even though she had just gotten here, she spent some quality time that night with Brynley while Jeremy took me out on a birthday date just the two of us.  We went to P.F. Chang's and it waaaaaaaas delicious. While our service was not quite up to par, we still had a wonderfully romantic evening. And I was surprised with my birthday gift....my iPhone! Yay, I love it just as much as I thought and I haven't even broken it in yet. Unfortunately Brynley likes it just as much as I do. Battle of the strong wills :)

The morning of my birthday was dedicated to the grand opening of our new Lifechurch.tv Owasso building. What an exciting day. Even with the torrential downpour and thunderstorms all night and morning, it didn't stop people from coming. In fact, we had 2400 people come to celebrate with us. What a huge blessing. So proud of my husband and all of all his hard work!

She wanted to put makeup on with Nana. First she watched Nana put hers on, then she tried for herself. Pretty impressive hand eye coordination too.

That night we celebrated my 30th birthday just how I like it, nice and low key. I had wonderful friends, family and good food. What more could I want?
Side note: Becky, Grandma Paula, and the Henderson's left before these pictures were taken.

Brynley loves her friend Benson, as you can see by the smothering hugs. I thought she might be suffocating him which might have been the case as you can see by the look of fear in his eyes.

 Going in for hugs......and kisses

We went to the park the next day because it was stunningly beautiful outside. We had just picked Bryn up some new shades and she loved them!

She is obsessed with bark?!

She saw the swings! And she is making her way over there...

We saw some friends at the park and attempted a group picture...haha. I said attempt, right? Got to love little kids. Often times in the process of trying to get a "perfect pose" you get some gems too.

Tah dah, finally a good one!

I thought we would have a blast from the past since my mom was here.  I found some old pajamas that just happened to be my favorite when I was a little older than Brynley (obviously, you can see its a tad big on her) and we put them on her. Now I can see how much she resembles me :)

We missed our grandma Marcia this weekend.  She was supposed to come visit this weekend but was brought to the hospital for chest pain and being unable to move. We have been praying for answers to her chest and back pain and for some relief. We love you.
