Making Christmas Cookies

Today we had a play date with Olivia and Jack making cookies. Of course it was not as successful as I had imagined it would be in my head but hey, she loved eating the frosting and sprinkles!

We made sugar cookies and I also made some gingerbread rice crispy treats that we decorated as well.

Her fingers were covered in sprinkles.  Those were definitely a hit. I will soon have some more pictures of her and I making cookies when my friend sends them to me.

She had a blast....that is, until she fell of the chair on to her head and bit her tongue pretty bad. What I thought was red sprinkles in her mouth turned out to be a little bloody mess, but nothing that sucking on some ice cubes couldn't take care of. She was back to normal in 20 minutes and we all played in Olivia's room for a while.

Watching Olivia, before we went to visit Olivia....kinda ironic huh?

I had to include this series of shots because she acts like I am torturing her, and all I wanted was a kiss ; )  hehe

When we got home we had the honor of hosting a dinner for a few of Jeremy's key volunteers at church.  Yes, I said honor. These people have been Jeremy's "right hand men/women" and such a blessing to him. A few of them have been there for us pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and after Brynley's birth. They are like extended family and truly wonderful Godly people.

Richard and Vicki brought Brynley a little Christmas present and she actually showed interest in trying to open it.

She got a little Cabbage Patch doll. Crazy enough, I was just telling Katie 2 hours before that I needed to get her one of those. She loves it.  And they giggle, and drink, and play the kazoo!

Such a wonderfully blessed day!
