We went to see santa on Friday afternoon. I didn't really know what to expect. She is usually pretty open to people holding her, and she isn't afraid of beards anymore. However, even the most well behaved children have been known to be overtaken with fear and scream when sat in santa's lap.
Fortunately, she didn't cry. And if you know Brynley at all you know that she almost NEVER smiles around people she doesn't know. So yes this is a very expressionless face, a very cute expressionless face. We even tried to bribe her with a candy cane which did serve it's purpose in keeping her from crying and squirming out of his arms, but little luck in getting a smile.
The whole experience was wonderful and I have nothing but great things to say about Bass Pro Shop. They were so nice and let me take as many pictures as I wanted unlike many other places. But the real bonus is that the picture was also free! If we had come a little later they even had a little area where kids can make crafts. There was also a big train and another little area with crayons and coloring paper.
All this excitement around her and her favorite part was playing in a tent....yes, a tent. Imagine that!....

We played outside with Jake for a while, she loves to walk in the planter and point to the flowers and say "ahhhh"
Her new thing recently is to kiss everything that she loves. She kisses her stuffed animals, she kisses her food, she kisses her mommy and daddy, but mostly she kisses her dog. Jake doesn't seem to mind much either even when she is following him around trying to kiss him. You can tell here she tried several different times to land one on him. :)
