Brynley's Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

Already!?!?!

I know I know, it goes by so fast. So everyone tells me....

But not this fast! I want to freeze her in time right now. She is perfect, with the exception of an occasional tantrum here and there. We couldn't have been blessed with a more loving, agreeable, smart little girl. She amazes us everyday.

And yes, I meant to put the picture of her eyes shut. That is her version of a big smile these days, and I want to remember every minute of it. I will admit, a little frustrating when I want a real smile, but she's 2!

Waiting for all her friends to arrive.

And that smile again....silly girl

As you can see we did a Minnie and Mickey mouse party. Her outfit was from Papa and Nana. Perfect for a minnie outfit. I spent hours on decorations....again. I told myself after last year that this was going to be much simpler. Was it? Nah! But I wouldn't have it any other way. I am just a crafter/builder at heart.

These minnie/mickey mouse hats were a labor of love. Who knew they were going to be so tedious to make. First of all, I couldn't find any black hats....so what is a handy girl to do? Get out her black spray paint. Then the ears....oh, what a pain those were! Started out using foam board. Have you every tried to cut a circle out of foam board? Well if you have, you know what I am talking about. I stopped after two ears and went out the night before the party and bought felt. Much easier! :)

We had so many amazing friends and family that came to celebrate Brynley. We are so blessed.

Brady was trying to make a move...denied. Maybe next time?

My beautiful niece Katherine. She gets prettier and prettier every time I see her.

Grandmommy spent several days with us leading up to the party. What a special treat. Brynley finally took to her and dragged her all over the house to play. She was elated....and a little wore out I am sure.
And....there's that smile.

And grandpa Eddie made a special appearance as well, driving all the way down from Wichita for the day for the second year in a row! We love him so much and are honored that we have him in our lives.

I am sad that this picture is so blurry because it was the first time Brynley has every held a baby.  And my girl LOVES baby dolls so she was in heaven when she got to hold the real thing.

feeding her cousin a puff

ugh, I hate how blown out this picture is. But it's beautiful nonetheless!

Thank you to everybody who came. You know how much we love you and the special place each one of you holds in our hearts.

I want to say a special thanks to my wonderfully supportive husband who did whatever he could do {short of crafting LOL} to help me get this party together {because I am a closet procrastinator}, including taking all these pictures. And if you know how much I appreciate having pictures to capture all of these memories, then you know how much I adore and thank this man. I love you so much.
