It's been a while.....

......A really long while.....

The biggest news to date: We are expecting!! A GIRL!

We are so excited, and boy, has time been flying by. We are 20 weeks along now, halfway there! Come to think of it, we found out shortly after the last time I posted here. I guess I was very busy with life. Ha!

So here's what you've missed.

We enjoyed the very mild fall with picnics outside

Brynley was in her first wedding.

We FINALLY got family pictures done. It was long overdue. I just love how they turned out. And you wouldnt even know that I was 8 weeks in this picture.

We went on our first family weekend vacation the first week of November, also LONG overdue, to Branson. We had so much fun! Our first night we found an all you can eat crab and lobster buffet. Yum!

We spent the next day at Silver Dollar City. There weren't many rides that Brynley could go on, but we  were there for all the Christmas festivities.

Waiting for the train.

She was so excited to be on the train. They had a stop where they told the Christmas story, she really liked that.

On the way home we stopped in Ozark because it was raining so hard and we couldn't see and just  happened to hear about this amazing place to eat right across the street called Lambert's {Home of the throwed rolls} It was amazing, they literally throw you rolls of bread from across the room! This mama loves her bread! It did not disappoint. We have never seen so much food. They even brought free sides to the table every time you looked up. Gosh, just talking about it makes me want to drive to Ozark to eat there again.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Ooooohs and Ahhhhs everywhere from this little toddler.

The first picture of our little gummi bear- 9 weeks and 5 days

The day after Thanksgiving, Brynley started getting sick, the next day we were bringing home a nebulizer....RSV. Yuck. She never really needed it though, it was a more mild case, thank you Jesus for her strong immune system. Unfortunately, she passed it right along to this pregnant mama, but with my weak pregnant immune system it turned into a nasty sinus infection. No needless to say, it was quite the long week.

When she started feeling better we went to go visit Santa at Bass Pro Shop. I love that they let us take our own pictures there, they are so accommodating.  She really warmed up to him this year, I even got a few smiles.

The many smiles of Brynley Davis
And this is why I love having a little girl, playing outside on the swing set with a princess dress on {over our jammies} and furry boots.

We took Brynley to see the Rhema lights for the first time. It was pretty cold so we didn't last long but she was pretty infatuated with the music and light show.

I didn't put this picture on here for any other reason than I love those tight highlighted curls sticking out of her hat. Love that hair so much.

When I finally decided to listen to Jeremy and go to the doctors after I couldn't sleep because of the pounding headaches, I found out my RSV infection had turned into a sinus infection. Within a day those antibiotics had started kicking in and I was finally feeling better after weeks of sickness.  She accompanied me to the doctors and wanted to take a picture in front of frosty. She even got a souvenir, some tongue depressors :)
This will go down as one of those rare good picture days because she kept asking me to take a picture of her, and this never, ever happens. Oh happy day.

We made gingerbread houses and cookies this year. It was so much fun watching her explore and make her own creations. Moments I will treasure for sure.

Christmas Eve services at church followed by "chick-IL-A" for dinner = Happy girl.

My growing belly @ 3 months

Alicia Keys in training. She likes to play on her pop pop's piano.

Christmas 2012
She looks so much like her daddy here. Those lips.

We spent new years in Dallas and Houston for Joel and Valerie's wedding. It's so fun when all the family gets together. Brynley got to be a flower girl, and for the second time in a row, she fell flat on her face walking down the isle. Poor girl does not know how to pick up her feet.

I bribed her with this cupcake so she would be quiet during the ceremony...it worked!

We spend many of our days dressing up. She is definitely a girly girl.
