Brynley surprises us every day with something new she has learned. Her vocabulary has tripled. She repeats a lot of what we say now. Instead of saying the name of an animal, she makes the noise instead. Case in point, her first word was dog and now she will only "arrf arrf". When she sees somebody she doesn't know she points to myself or Jeremy and says, "momma" or "daddy" over and over again until they acknowledge her. It's almost as if she is introducing us to them. Pretty cute.
The best though is her new love for music and dancing. I guess it wouldn't be very accurate to say new because we have always known she loved music. Even as a little baby she was intrigued by her daddy playing the drums.
Recently, however, she has been busting out these new dance moves that are hilarious. Half the time I can't even hold the camera still because I am laughing so hard. Here are a few that I have captured over the last several months.

This next video is totally unrelated to dancing but I had to add it. If you know Brynley at all, her favorite song is itsy bitsy spider. She started doing the hand motions when she was a baby. She has a book that we have read the first few pages a few times but she doesn't seem to interested in it. As far as I know, the only experience she has with spiders was when we used to to watch Miss Spider and the Sunny Patch friends. Of course it is an animated kids show so I didn't think she was really going to be able to put two and two together. However, a couple days ago she surprised us and herself with her first interaction with a spider. Also, please dismiss my singing. :D It's amazing what you will do for your little ones. And don't worry, it was a harmless spider!
