You are officially a toddler these days and you are so smart. You are learning new things every day and I love having a means to remember all of the little quirks that we cherish so much at each stage of your young little life. Here are your favorites at 18 months old:
Brynley, at 18 months you are:
23 lbs. 2 oz.

2 3/4 feet tall
•
You wear a size 5-6 shoe
•
You wear 12-24 month clothes
•
You have 8 teeth, no molars yet
•
You are so active and you run EVERYWHERE
•
You still sit rear facing in your car seat and you don't mind it at all, especially when we turn on a movie for you.
•
You still love peas but your new favorite is corn on the cob.
•
Your MOST FAVORITE is fruit snacks, which you call "Nacks". You don't even chew them. You are so excited you swallow them whole
•
You also frequently ask for cheese (sharp cheddar of course!) Such a diva. Also grapes, apples "appo", peaches "pissa", avocado
•
You don't care for bread so lunch is never as easy as making you a sandwich. Mommy has to get creative. Pasta is always a hit. You love fruits and veggies too.
•
You still love Fresh Beat Band. You call them "Bea Ban". You sing with the intro now and say "Kiki!!" and dance to all the songs
•
You now also love Elmo. I usually fast forward through the sesame street episode till we get to Elmo. You squeal when you see him and you can say Elmo very clearly. Usually long and drawn out......Eeeeeeelmooooo!

You LOVE to dance. And you will do it on command, every time.
•
Your favorite song is Animal Inside You on your Family Tree cd and you sing along to the same part of the song every time (on key too!), and you know exactly where it is.
•
You know where the open/close button is on your cd player and you use it all the time, it drives mommy crazy!
•
You are infatuated with our neighbors' bikes and always run across the street to play with them in their garage. You call it a "bop". We just got you a tricycle of your own and you like to push it around and climb on it.
•
Anything that resembles a phone you put up to your ear and say hello, even remotes.
•
You put anything with a strap over your shoulder, like a purse, and say bye bye.
•
Instead of saying the names of animals you like to make the sounds. Your favorite word used to be dog, now you only "arrf" every time you see one.
•
You still won't let me read you an entire book without turning the pages to the end and saying "ahh done"
•
You can now do all the itsy bitsy spider motions and every time you see a spider or ant you immediately grin from ear to ear and throw your hands up in the air and do the itsy bitsy spider motion with your hands. No words. Just hand motions. :)
•
We have discovered you are right handed
•
You like to draw and color. Especially with daddy.
•
You still drink lots of water and can now drink out of a cup very well. On rare occasions you ask for juice and we let you have some.
•
You still don't care much for milk, at all!
•
You love hats and are always putting them on, especially the white one below
•
You climb up on everything: Chairs, couches, beds, strollers.
•
You can almost do a somersault now. I just have to push... just a smidge.
•
You are getting more shy of people and have to introduce mommy and daddy to them.
•
You love to give kisses
•
You are on the verge of full-on talking
•
You say please "pease", thank you "tane tou", I love you "I looo"
•
You are very strong willed.
