Celebration weekend

This was the mother-load of all weekends. It was Jeremy's 31st birthday and Mother's day, all rolled into 4 wonderful days.

I celebrated my wonderful husband on the eve of his birthday with a romantic dinner while our little one  napped. I knew it was going to be pretty busy that weekend so I wanted to spoil him and have a romantic moment to ourself. For the record, the nap part was not planned but VERY good timing! God was definitely at work :)

I made jumbo coconut shrimp, quinoa, and grilled asparagus, followed by homemade peach cobbler. He loves me more after that meal!

Later that night we went to dinner with Marcia, Ja'Marc and London, and the Hendersons at El Tequila. My birthday boy loves him some mexican food and a margarita!

My beautiful mother's day flowers arrived the next day (friday), a day early apparently. They were gorgeous!

The best mother's day gift though was an ENTIRE weekend spent with my hubby. He definitely knows my love language, and my cup was overflowing.

We were so excited to celebrate Marcia while she was down here as well. She is such a blessing.

She took Miss Bryn shopping and bought her some clothes, this little frog purse that she calls her "baby", and a play-doh elmo toy. And if you are wondering about the necklace, that's grandmommy's too and Brynley was fishing through her jewelry bag trying to find a "neckace" to wear. She even picked something that matched her outfit. Already a fashionista I tell ya.
