Good-bye Owasso

So much change has happened in the last month that I didn't even realize it had gone by, without a single update. For starters, we are moving back to Broken Arrow! In a little over a week we will be back in our old house. Yes, I will admit I am excited, but sad to leave all of my friends here in Owasso. Of course it is only a 25ish minute drive, but still sad to leave. This means we will be losing the convenience of stopping  by to see daddy at the last minute, which we love.

We sold all of our couches to make room for a new one. And for the record, we posted them on craigslist and within 10 minutes we were bombarded with calls. We were shocked! Apparently we priced them right :)

We will miss our favorite park right down the street, we spend a lot of time there.

And in case you noticed her arm band, which my mom thought was a cast at first glance, she wore that thing for a week straight. She has a thing for "bracelets" right now.

And climbing......

She has been climbing up everything lately! It happened over night! She has no fear!

Duck watching with her best friend Brady....

Pretty sure this picture will show back up when they are in high school.

This is typical Brynley. Dressing herself.

Mommy let her play in a puddle at the playground. I was cringing at the thought of bacteria swimming in that thing...but I let my guard down and let her be a toddler. She didn't want to leave.

Did I mention she likes hats?? And bracelets?? :D

Brynley and I had our first lunch date at Chick-fil-a.
She was all smiles. I love that goofy underbite smile.

And she has become a pro at the slide now too. I was wondering if she was ever going to catch on.

And again with a hat and bracelet. You thought I was exaggerating?? ha
A little yogurt on your face never hurt anybody right?

And then there's the hanging thing she loves to do. We went to watch RSU baseball play at  Driller stadium downtown with the Hendersons. She did very well considering it was her first time.

Love that hair!

Fun around the house

We took Bryn to the zoo for the first time last weekend. Needless to say, she LOVED it! Not surprised by that at all.

Jeremy and myself have very mixed feelings about the zoo. We get sad thinking about all these wild animals locked up in cages for everyone's enjoyment.  But yes, we are guilty for partaking in it as well for the sake of our daughter.

Seeing her eyes light up made it all worth it.

We watched the turtles for a long time. They were very used to people and came right up to us, expecting some food I suppose!

Here she is excited about the bear, much more excited than the bear was! He/she looked very agitated with it's hair standing on end along it's back, pacing back and forth along the fence. We didn't stay there long! Another site that made Jeremy and I sad.

Finally, the petting zoo! Getting acquainted with all the sheep and goats.

I can imagine these animals are very used to kids messing with them, but I was still very careful about making sure she was gently and not hitting or pulling them. Even those extra precautions didn't keep this little goat below from turning around and knocking her on her butt with his horns. :(  She ended up with an itty bitty bruise the next day, but she wasn't even phased when it happened.

NOSE!

Looking at the bunnies

and pigs!
She tried so hard to reach this donkey. Despite her best "eee-ahhh", he didn't come. She is very familiar with donkey from Shrek so she was super excited to see him. This excitement was obviously not reciprocated.
