Almost ready....

These days everything seems to go at a snails pace. I have so many plans for all these diy projects before our little girl gets here but of course naps seem much more important. This should come as no surprise though since I am 37 weeks today and the fatigue is kickin in big time. However, with this little burst of energy I have right now I am forgoing a nap today to update this little blog here and hopefully get some sewing done for the crib skirt.

Here's what's new:

We have now been in Texas for 2.5 months.

Brynley and I play A LOT! I am trying to be intentional about quality time with her before her sister gets here and I am a little preoccupied.

We went to our very first Ranger game {Jeremy's first MLB game ever in fact} We had an absolute blast. It was just the two of us the first time so we got to relax and really enjoy each other and our first "date" in Texas.

Then we took Brynley and our friends with us the next time. We are so blessed to get box seats when we go so the whole experience is out of this world amazing.

We made our first trip to Six Flags to watch CPAC perform and while we were there we took advantage of this opportunity to go on some of the rides. Of course I couldn't go on any because of my big preggo belly but watching Brynley and Jeremy have fun was enough for this mama.

And the biggest milestone yet......drum roll please..... we are potty trained! I will spare you the video but had to put at least one picture of her doing her thing. She was over the moon excited every time she went for over two weeks. And asking for candy because "mommy is so proud of me" went on for over a month, and still does occasionally.

We spend many days at the pool now, this was our first time and it happened to be right after a torrential downpour the day before. There were beetles and ladybugs everywhere! She was more preoccupied with them then getting in the water. In her defense, the water was still freezing at that time. Have I mentioned that my daughter LOVES all things insects and bugs!? Silly girl.

We made a weekend trip down to Tulsa to close on the sale of our house and meet all the little babies that we missed being born after we left. She is going to be such a good big sister.

Learning how to draw faces now

Brynley was sick over Mother's day weekend. A few breathing treatments to help clear up that mucous in her chest and she was back to her old self and as feisty as ever.

Her treat for being so good at mommy's doctors appt? Why chic-fil-a of course!

This girl loves loves loves to help cook. You cant make anything in the kitchen without her asking to help.

So, there was this adorably cute wild baby bunny that Jeremy found in our yard. Bryn was obsessed! How long do you think it will be before we have to get this little animal lover a small pet?

Wow, that was a lot of pictures. Maybe next time I will keep up with it a little more frequently. Oh wait, I am about to have a baby. Well maybe I will just post pictures for a while....who needs the commentary anyways right? :)
