Yes, that is right! We are boat owners! We decided a couple of weeks ago that we needed a family hobby. Of course Jeremy was on boat trader that day looking and within two weeks we had some options to go look at. We decided to take the boat out that following weekend on Friday by ourselves, before we took family out on Saturday, so we could get a feel for it and work out all the kinks. And for the record, there were a lot of kinks; I mean, what do you expect with people who know nothing about a boat?! ha. Thankfully some friends of ours decided to go out with their boat as well so he was very helpful. Jeremy was excited but extremely nervous the entire drive there. We went to Lake Skiatook (much cleaner so Jeremy could almost see his feet!) Plus, it's only 30 minutes away.

Brynley was screaming at the water behind us while Jeremy and Todd were trying to launch the boat.

We had so much fun that day. Jeremy, Brynley, and I all got in the water for a while. Feels nice in the 106 degree heat that seems to be pretty common these days. The water must have worn her out because this was her the last 30 minutes before we started back to the loading dock.
