Pastor Jeremy

I am so excited to announce that Jeremy made it past his 90 day testing period at the church! This means that he is a good fit and gets to keep his job....yay!  Now we can finally take a breath and enjoy this amazing opportunity in our lives. We feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the Lifechurch.tv staff and are so thankful that Jeremy is now doing what he is called to do.

For those of you who don't know what I am talking about at all, here is a brief synopsis: While at Chase Bank Jeremy was playing the drums for our church in Owasso (Lifechurch.tv) on the weekends.  While doing that, he felt like he was being called to help the church out in a different way.  This is when he stopped playing the drums ( which many people were sad about by the way) and started acting as a volunteer staff member for the host team.  I should also add that he was working full time at the bank this entire time, usually Monday-Saturday.  After several months of volunteering under his belt, a new position opened up as a host team Pastor. After much prayer, we felt we were being called to this position.  What this meant however, was that we had to dive all in and move to Owasso to begin our ministry out there. What a journey! Did I forget to mention that the time between getting the job and moving to Owasso was only 1 month? Yes, you read that correctly.  We rented out our beautiful house in Broken Arrow to a wonderful couple expecting their first child in the next couple months, and moved in to Owasso.

Our church is currently being held in an elementary school but a new building is being built as we speak.  Here are a few pictures of the "ground breaking".

I wanted to share some pictures of the amazing team that Jeremy has the pleasure of working with. We just got done with a series called "At the Movies" and each campus constructs a set/theme from a movie to do in their lobby. Our campus chose CARS! It was amazingly done.  We have some very talented volunteers at our church that all contributed many long hours and days (usually till midnight) to help this all come together. So this is why there is some construction going on in some of these pictures.
