Today started VERY early. When daddy got up to go to the gym at 6 am Miss Brynley decided she wanted to be an early riser as well, despite mommy's disapproval of the idea. Remember when I posted just yesterday that I was trying to stop taking that morning nap with her? This definitely made that very hard. How can you resist a smiling cooing face in the morning? Especially when those coo's are directed at her favorite stuffed animal at the moment, Mr. Turtle. I will usually let her play with her toys and entertain herself for a bit before I go in there and I think that has helped because she used to cry the minute she woke up. This way she has time to settle herself down. We are definitely all for the self soothing! Considering she never took a pacifer, sucked her thumb, or had a favorite blankie I think she has done very well.
Today was pretty uneventful. It was too hot to go outside, even though we went out for a bit to take some pictures. Those will be posted soon. Other than that, we made a Target run- gotta love those!
