Our musical girl

Of course we should not be surprised, musical talent runs in this family.  I know it is a bit premature because all she is doing is hitting some drums and doing a little dancing jig to music, but we are proud parents after all.  Like most parents can relate, everything your child does is the most amazing thing ever. 

After listening to daddy play the drums for a while she decided it was time to try it for herself.  Please excuse the camera shake, Jeremy was trying to hold her and the camera at the same time.

Recently, however we have had to take the drum sticks away from her.  Despite the fact that she knows that the drums sticks are used to hit the drum and will walk over to the drum from across the room to do so, she has also been using it to hit people, including herself.  After a few shots to her own head, we decided it might be a good idea to hide the drum sticks for a while.  I have been taking this opportunity to teach her the word "no", very unsuccessful at it by the way.  

We thank God every day for blessing us with this job at just the right time so that I could stay home with her and capture these beautiful moments. His timing is so perfect.
