What a year....

Well we finally had our 1 year appointment.  It was originally scheduled for the 3rd of October. We had to push it back almost two weeks because her doctor was out of the office that week. We ended up seeing another doctor in the office and we loved her. Brynley didn't fussy nearly as much as she usually does but that might have to do with the fact that she let Bryn sit on my lap for the majority of her assessment. We talked about her diapers, rash, weaning, diet....so exciting isn't it?  Haha.  Only for a mommy.

So here are her statistics:

1 YEAR
WEIGHT: 19 LBS 9 OUNCES                     25%ile
HEIGHT: 29 1/2 INCHES = 2 1/2 FEET     50%ile
FOC: 17  3/4 INCHES                                  50%ile

We went to lunch before her appointment and I am betting that she probably really only weighs 19 lbs 3 oz because she easily ate 6 oz worth of food! We have never seen her eat that much before, her stomach was as hard as a rock.

My little point and shoot broke a couple months ago and my nice camera is too bulky to carry around the doctors office so all we had to use was our phone camera.  Not the best quality, but we got to capture the moment so that's all that matters.

We only got one shot today even thought she could have had three.  I feel much better about just giving her one at a time.  I wouldn't like going through that many pokes, I don't care if we justify it by saying we are "just getting it over with".  I know she appreciates it, it's my mommy intuition :)
