Our sweet Brynley, you are continually amazing us with the new things you do every day. We think we will never forget all of your favorite things and the fun little quirks you have at each stage of your life, but in reality those specific memories will slowly fade to make room for new and exciting milestones. Here are some of your favorites right now at 1 year old:
Brynley, at 1 year you are:
19 lbs 9 oz--> now 20 1/2 lbs (growth spurt)

2 1/2 feet tall
•
You wear a size 4-5 shoe
•
You wear 12 or 18 month clothes. However, you still fit into some of your 9 month shirts.

You have been walking for 3 months now and are a pro at it.

You have been trying to run lately and have all the bumps and bruises to prove it

Your favorite tv show is the Fresh Beat Band. You run to the tv every time it comes on and dance along with them. You also love Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, and Franklin.

You LOVE to play the drums.
•

You love to watch daddy play the drums and you run to the room when you hear them and dance along or grab some sticks and play along with him.
•
You like to look at books but not long enough for mommy to read them, just to turn the pages over and over and speak your jibberish.
•
Your favorite word is still dog. You light up when you see Jake.
•
You love to play in Jake's water bowl and eat with him (literally) Hey, we have tried to stop you but it won't hurt you.
•
Your favorite nursery rhyme is the itsy bitsy spider.
•
You eat EVERYTHING but your favorite are peas!
•
You also love pears, peaches, plums, cheerios, pasta, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal. We often just hand you a plum or peach now and you can eat it all by yourself.

You love to drink water, thank goodness because we have never had to give you any juice.
•
You will only drink out of a water bottle, you don't quite understand that you have to tip the other ones backwards. We are working on it though.

We were about to introduce cow's milk to you and then you got sick. So we are still waiting.

You love to dance. Especially stomping your feet and turning in circles.
•
You like to crawl in and out of things right now. Especially your carseat and stroller. We often stroll you around the house in your stoller, you love that!

You love playing outside, but also like to run into the street because the neighbor kids across the street are playing soccer and you want to join in.

You are so good natured and happy but you are starting to throw tantrums when you don't get your way.
•
You get a new scratch up bump every day. We are on constant alert for dangerous situations but more often than not you are just tripping over your own feet from trying to run or turn too fast.

You wave hi with both hands.

You LOVE LOVE LOVE your blankie! Daddy calls it Linus because you drag it all over the house behind you.

You rub your upper lip with your finger or blankie when you are tired.

You give hugs

And sometimes kisses......MMMMAAAAA!
