Kissits and Lickits

You might not understand what that means, in Brynley toddler language that means kisses and licks. Her new thing as of the last couple days, instead of kisses she licks our mouth and giggles. I would be so grossed out if she wasn't so cute. I usually dodge it and I get a big lick on my cheek. I am convinced that she does it because she gets a reaction out of Jeremy and myself...isn't that why a toddler is habitual in doing obnoxious things?

In the 20 to 21 month period of Brynley's life, we have seen dramatic changes. She has sprouted in her height and is nearly taller than all of her friends, younger and older. She went from barely repeating words to repeating everything. And just in the last month she has been putting several words together. As of last week she can count to 10 and we can almost sing the whole alphabet. {She can't quite get hij...lmno...and she always leaves out t and wants to go straight to uv}.

I never imagined how happy it would make my heart to be able to watch her learn and grow.

I promised an update on Jeremy's first wedding. I was such a proud wife. He looked so sharp and handsome in his custom fitted suit. When he started the ceremony I could tell his voice was a little quivery, but within a minute he was flowing so smoothly and confidently.

We went to see the Rhema fireworks on Sunday July 1st. She wasn't nearly as interested as I thought she was going to be. We didn't buy any of our own fireworks this year after we saw her lack of interest.

Our friends the Blevins came to spend the 4th with us. It was full of giggles, barbecue, swimming, chocolate covered bananas and strawberries, and ended in an adult movie while the kids slept. It was a blast.

We started off the next day with homemade blueberry waffles and fresh fruit because were off to Grand Lake to play with Brady, Olivia, and Jack.

No that is not me, that is Katie taking Bryn to the pool because she couldn't wait long enough for me.

Happy 4th!!
